Do I need a federal criminal defense attorney to represent me in a federal case?
Return to FAQsTranscript:
Absolutely. Federal Court and State court are two different theaters. I’ve practiced in both. I was elected state prosecutor. I was also a federal prosecutor for many years. I practice in both courts. There’s some attorneys that don’t practice in state court and some that don’t practice in Federal Courts. It’s essential, if you are going to be facing charges in federal court, that you have an experienced person that has worked in the federal system, those that know the players involved, knows the law involved, and most importantly knows the rules involved.
